Michell Consulting Group’s Commitment to the Health and Safety of Our Community

At Michell Consulting Group, the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and communities is a top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. MCG is committed to being responsive to the needs of our employees and clients as the situation evolves.

With the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we feel it is important to share with you the steps we’re taking and the protocols in place to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have been addressing the situation in phases as the impact of the virus worsens.

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, MCG has implemented Phase 1 which is an optional work from home policy. Any employees affected by the closure of schools and daycares can work remotely from home to allow for the care of their children. Also, any employees that have symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms can self-quarantine and work remotely from home.

We have canceled and have prohibited any unnecessary visits to our office until further notice. We have also suspended any onsite client visits unless such visits are part of their Managed Service Agreement.

Phase 2 will be implemented if there is a mandatory office closer instructed by the government or by our building which our office is in. During this phase, all MCG employees will be instructed to work from home and all onsite visits will be canceled. The only exceptions will be cases were an onsite technician is necessary to resolve issues that cause our clients downtime or the inability to work.

We understand these restrictions may cause inconveniences for you. Please realize that we already have in place a business structure that facilitates remote support. We have the tools and resources that allow our staff to deliver support to customers without requiring travel or an onsite visit.

The work restriction policy is aimed at protecting our two greatest assets, our employees and our clients. I’m confident that all MCG employees will team together to continue to provide the support and interaction our clients expect.

Michell also recommends that clients develop a preparedness and response plan that can help ensure business continuity and implement protective actions against the outbreak.
