Microsoft Snipping Tool

Getting Started

Start Button > Type “Snip” > Select Snipping Tool

Right Click > Pin to Taskbar (Easier Access)

Using Snipping Tool

Open Snipping tool > Select New > Click and Drag to select what you will screenshot

Options within snipping tool:

Save (Allows you to save the image)

Copy (Copies to your clipboard)

Email (Opens Email Client)

Highlight / Pen / Highlight (Allows for highlighting of items or markings)

Delaying Screenshot > Select “Delay” > Select “5 sec” > Perform actions > Screenshot is taken in 5 sec

Different Modes

Freeform allows you to select any part of the screen

Snip & Sketch

Open Snip & Sketch > Select New > Choose between Rectangle Selection or Freeform Selection

Drag to select what you will screenshot

Similar options as Snipping tool:

Save (Allows you to save the image)

Copy (Copies to your clipboard)

Share

Select Win + Shift + S (Takes Screenshot)
